Many factors can contribute to your pet’s health and resilience or susceptibility to disease. As an holistic veterinarian, I will not only address your pet's acute or chronic illnesses, but will review the “whole picture” to develop a treatment protocol that is specific for each animal at that time.
While I practice integrated veterinary medicine, drawing both from my traditional veterinary school training as well as my post-graduate training in alternative modalities, I primarily use naturopathic medicine. I also can draw blood for analysis, do urine and fecal exams, aspirate lumps for biopsies, clean wounds, and do lameness evaluations. If needed, I will make appropriate referrals for dentistry, ultra-sounds, radiographs, specialist care and surgeries.
Typically during an examination, I will be sitting on the floor or chair, or I might examine your pet while you hold it on a table or in your lap. We might sit out on the grass for an acupuncture treatment. I naturally will see large animals where they are stabled.
